People I work with from time to time…
Stephanie Sadler
Social Media Strategist, Consultant, Content Creator
Stephanie spent six years as a social media strategist and content creator in the international education industry, as part of an award-winning marketing team. During this time, she also created and managed a popular blog and a grant program for official bloggers and vloggers, working closely with WordPress and Hubspot. With more than 15 years of blogging experience, largely driven by photography and storytelling, she has worked with luxury lifestyle clients and has interviewed hundreds of artists, ordinary Londoners and small business owners.
She specialises in developing growth strategies and content creation and curation for businesses just starting out on social media, or for those who wish to re-evaluate their current approach, providing inspiring clients with the tools and training they need to create, nurture and grow their digital identity.
She currently works as a freelancer with clients in the arts, international education, real estate, charity sector and several small businesses run by entrepreneurs.
Jill Barber
Creative, Producer, Director, Researcher, Copywriter
Jill has over 15 years of experience in the broadcasting industry, where she spent most of her career with the BBC working as a creative making both long and short form promotions. She has experience of branding, producing, directing, editing, copywriting and researching.
She has worked with talent, interviewing the writers Johanna Trollop and Ian Rankin and writing scripts for Jonathan Ross, George Alagiah and Matt Albright and directing them.
Working for BBC News, she travelled with a crew to film, direct and interview BBC news correspondents in South Africa and Singapore and, as a result, produced an award-winning promo for BBC World.
Richard Perry
Film & TV Cameraman
19 years ago, Richard began his TV and Film journey working as a trainee on favourites such as ‘This is Your Life’ and ‘Grand Designs’ and then later as a cameraman alongside the teams at ‘Country File’ ‘Real Story’ and ‘Points of View’. Although he is content in a more creative role, shooting and directing corporate films for major clients such as McDonalds, Ikea, Microsoft, and Diageo, (including an award-winning viral commercial for Guinness), he is equally comfortable in other forms of film-based storytelling including documenting affairs in the real world.
An opportunity to film documentaries for the BBC has afforded Richard the privilege of capturing a diverse range of subjects across the globe, including Anti-poaching efforts in Malawi, conflicts in Lebanon, South Sudan, Yemen, Iraq and Syria, insect life in the Namib Desert and fierce political battles in Europe and the UK, the latter working with the BBC’s Political Editor Laura Kuenssberg (Richard has filmed formal interviews with four of the UK’s Prime Ministers and dozens of Heads of State).
As a senior BBC Producer pointed out: “He’s arty and has strong storytelling skills. This, and the ability to work to strict ‘on the day deadlines’ is a killer combination… which is the reason he’s in such demand.”
